The first television program produced in Louisiana French in 30 years, La Veillée is a 13-minute docuseries and newsmagazine that airs weekly on Louisiana Public Broadcasting during fall and spring seasons with all episodes simultaneously published online. Each week, the series focuses on a specific topic involving Louisiana’s unique languages, cultures, communities, landscapes, and people.

Louisiana's first French language digital newspaper in nearly a century that reports on the current reality of Louisiana’s French and Creole speaking communities while highlighting its challenges and victories, whether through stories about culture, the environment, politics or education. Le Louisianais is a project of Télé-Louisiane launched to promote and advance journalism that breathes new life into Louisiana’s French and Creole speaking communities.

 

 

Explore the World of Boudini.

The first Louisiana French cartoon series, Les Aventures de Boudini et Ses Amis takes students form elementary school and beyond on adventures in Louisiana culture, history, and environment. Inspired by Ken Meaux and developed and produced by local animators Philippe Billeaudeaux and Marshall Woodworth with Télé-Louisiane, the series immerses viewers in Louisiana French language and heritage and is used as a teaching tool in French immersion schools statewide.

Since the New Orleans Saints secured international marketing rights for France in 2023, Télé-Louisiane has managed the official French language New Orleans Saints Instagram and Twitter/X accounts.
